1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lovable BBQ ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Lovable BBQ is a mobile application that allows users to discover BBQ restaurants, check in to visited locations, earn badges, and participate in a community leaderboard. The App uses Google Maps and Google Places APIs to provide restaurant information.

3. User Accounts

  • You must create an account to use the App's features.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your profile.
  • One account per person. Automated or duplicate accounts are not permitted.

4. Check-In Rules

  • Check-ins require physical proximity (within 150 meters) to the restaurant.
  • A 24-hour cooldown applies between check-ins at the same location.
  • Attempting to spoof your location or circumvent check-in restrictions may result in account suspension.
  • Check-in data including photos and notes become part of the App's community content.

5. User Content

By uploading photos or adding notes to your check-ins, you:

  • Retain ownership of your content.
  • Grant Lovable BBQ a non-exclusive license to display your content within the App (e.g., community photo galleries).
  • Agree not to upload content that is offensive, illegal, or infringes on others' rights.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • GPS spoofing or location manipulation
  • Creating fake or automated check-ins
  • Harassing other users
  • Uploading inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
  • Attempting to access other users' accounts or data
  • Reverse-engineering or scraping the App

7. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including Google Maps, Google Places, and Supabase. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of restaurant information, ratings, or locations displayed in the App, as this data is sourced from Google Places.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lovable BBQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings, which will permanently remove all your data.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
