Open the app, find the restaurant on the map or search for it, tap on the marker, then tap 'View Details'. On the restaurant detail page, tap 'Check In'. You must be within 150 meters of the restaurant for the check-in button to work.

Lovable BBQ requires you to be within 150 meters of a restaurant to check in. Make sure your device's location services are enabled and you're physically near the restaurant. GPS accuracy can vary, so try stepping outside for a better signal.

You can check in to the same restaurant once every 24 hours. This prevents duplicate check-ins and keeps your stats meaningful.

Badges are earned by visiting unique BBQ restaurants. Visit 5 unique spots for Backyard Griller, 15 for Smoke Chaser, 30 for Pitmaster, and 75 for the ultimate BBQ Legend badge. Visiting the same restaurant multiple times only counts as one unique visit.

Yes! Go to Settings and toggle off 'Show on Leaderboard'. Your stats will be hidden from other users, but you can still see your own progress in your dashboard.

When checking in, tap the 'Add Photos' button below the notes field. You can take a new photo with your camera or select up to 4 photos from your library.

Try expanding the search radius using the slider below the search bar (up to 50km). You can also search for a specific city or zip code. The app filters specifically for BBQ, barbecue, and smokehouse restaurants.

Go to your Profile page and look for the account deletion option. This will permanently remove all your check-ins, photos, and profile data.

No. Lovable BBQ only accesses your location while you're actively using the app. We never track your location in the background.
